Izora Parks Cornett (Born June 21, 1880- January 28, 1960)
Izora Parks-Cornett was my 3rd great grandmother, who was born in the year 1880. What I found interesting about this particular funeral card was the texture of the paper. It is soft and flexible but also resembles a plastic type of paper. I am not sure what kind of paper that her information was printed on, but it is definitely unique. The inside you can see some of the texture from the image above. This funeral card came from my mothers collection that was saved over the years. I am very thankful for this little piece of history!
